I have never gotten into the idea of generating content automatically on a blog, but that wasn’t until I did a little research on it. Auto content generation can be very popular for flipping blog websites, and creating some great blogs.
So I found out about a great Wordpress plugin called WP Robot. Here is My wp robot review:
It’s a plugin that you simply install into WordPress, and you’re set to easily populate your blog with great content. In this post, I’m going to go over with you my experience using this plugin.
First Impressions After Installation
I have never tried any other content generator, but I have to say that after using WP Robot on a blog that it’s probably one of the best in the market! I was even more surprised by all of the options available to you in the admin panel.

The WP Robot settings separate themselves from the other settings boxes and makes it easy to find in your admin panel. There are no options in this plugin that are not needed, and anything you can touch or customize makes a significant difference in how this plugin interacts with your blog.
As I went through the settings, I found everything to be neatly organized and easy to find. That’s a very important factor for a plugin with as many options as this one has – have an easy to use interface!
Going Deeper Into the Options Panel
I couldn’t find anything I didn’t like about the interface, and had no beef with any of the options and how they affected the blog. Here is an overview of most of the features that really stand out in the options panel.
* Easily add keywords – The keywords you add will determine the theme of your content. Add as many as you’d like with ease. It’s just putting tags in your post screen.
* Set a schedule for posting – You can easily set when your content will be posted. Set the time in intervals of hours or days, and your content will be generated and posted in the time you set it.
* Choose post information – You can select what category the post will be filed in, and you can also set whether or not the post should be published automatically, or set as a draft you can publish manually. This is probably one of the most convenient features this plugin has besides, you know, writing content for you!
These are just my favorite features of the plugin, and they really do make a difference in how you use this plugin.
Quality of the Content
Like any other content generator plugin, WP Robot does have some issues I have seen in the content that is produced. But I will get into that stuff later on.
All in all, I would say that the content produced is very well written for something automated. I created a test blog to take a look at the quality of the content, and here are my thoughts on it.
The Good
* HTML Formatting – I noticed some of the posts that were written came with some HTML formatting. “Top 10″ posts were written with unordered and ordered lists
* Good length – I think it would be a neat feature if you could tell the plugin how many words to make the articles, but the word count on each articles created were over 500+ words, and not badly written.
* Works well with your design – If you had a post footer like I have added below each post here, then it would be able to work and flow great with plugins, custom fields and other stuff.
* Rewrite or translate (translation module needed) – If at first the content the plugin produces isn’t up to your standards, you can simply rewrite it. And if you really want to kick it up a notch, you can translate it to another language!
The Bad
* Some paragraphs get long – One of the most important characteristics of a great post are short paragraphs. Some of the posts I created on my test blog had a lot of sentences smashed into one paragraph, and they really made some big paragraphs.
* Author boxes are created – Sometimes after posts, boxes with information about an author are put under the post. I don’t know if it has something to do with copyrights, or if it is just added for realism – but I don’t like it.
* Repetitions – This must be a common problem for scripts like this, but in different articles I sometimes see the exact same text that I do from another article. I know what is probably causing it, but for those who don’t – read up to “Tips for making the best of this plugin” further down this post.

Modules are addons to this plugin. With each module you buy, you can diversify what kind of content is written from different sites. You can read the modules page for more information.

I personally recommend you look into the article module, Yahoo Answers and translation modules, if any at all.
Tips for making the best of WP Robot
Here are some tips I can give you after using this plugin for a few days on a test blog.
* When adding keywords to determine the topic if your posts, always add as many keywords as possible to narrow down and keep content as accurate as possible.
* In your options panel, make sure you set it so posts are saved as drafts rather than publish automatically. That way, if you see any similar paragraphs from other posts, or just want to make revisions, it will be easier to just save these posts as drafts rather than have the auto publish.
* With the Clickbank, Amazon and Ebay modules, you can add your affiliate links from those sites. So any links posted from those modules will allow you to earn money through affiliate commissions!
This was my first time using a plugin like this, and I thinking my experience with WP Robot was really great. I really recommend you guys try it out, as you can really make a lot of money creating blogs with the content being written for you automatically, and even getting affiliate commisions if you use the right modules.
